Re: what is this?

Torque converter lock up is the driverside wall. The one on the passenger is part of the ESC system.

Try circling it, because I can't tell from that pic. It's a possibility that someone bypassed your's. Is that a stock carb you're running?

Re: what is this?

Here is a better picture from my 83 original configuration.

I removed it along with all the ECS wiring harness.

Look straight up from the top left corner of the brake oil cover. Right above it is the lock switch for a 700R4. The red wire goes around it. The lockup switch is on the bottom right corner of the fusible link junction open box.

ive got TH350C so there should be a lockup converter switch instead. what consists of the whole ESC wiring harness?

As best I rememeber, everything coming out of the large grommit directly behind the motor (slightly towards the pass side) should be the ESC harness. Should have a plug for the dist., knock sensor wire, ect. Inside it will run to a small box like a computer. Unplug the harness from the box and remove.

Re: what is this?

Go to www.autozone.com. You'll find emissions diagrams there with the switch.

Re: what is this?

I have a 1986 c10 with a 1970 307 and turbo 350 I saved the truck from being a parts truck and installed the motor. In a nutshell I have a torque converter lock but I have no idea where the line goes to even after looking at the picture above and buying a book at the auto parts store. I do have two of them it appears and the ball and some lines but I need some advice on where they all go. My motor is simple I have the basic motor and carb no sensors for smog or emissions are installed.
