Re: rear seats

I couldn't find anyone either, and I have been looking for a very long time.
I went ahead and had all my benches redone a few months ago, and the shop that did them rebuilt the foam the best they could. I was worried, but in the end they looked great.
The front seat was shot, and I had to buy the foam for the front. Which seems everyone sells. That foam is very expensive, and really took a bite out of my budget. I suppose you could buy that foam kit, and have a skilled upholsterer cut them and shape them to match a rear bench size.

Warning though on the new foam. It is very dense memory type foam, and is comfortable to sit on but to me it seemed thicker than the OE stuff I am use to. So your seating position changes considerably.
Not an issue if you have power steering, and a tilt steering column.
But if your rig is like mine, with manual steering, no tilt, and a large steering wheel.. You will either be looking for a tilt, or if you are like me you will want to lose weight..

Re: rear seats

Ha haaaa. Thanks for the info. Youd think one of the companies would manufacture it. I think there is a lot of need. Anyhow inwill probly have an upjolter do it for me. My front seats are from an 07 ram to be upholstered like the originals. Im excited but not for the cost

Re: rear seats

I have the foam from a bench seat on a 70 C10 that is in very good shape. You can have it if you want to stop by and get it. I do believe it can be cut down to the size of the 3rd seat.
