A sweet Crewcab from Nashville Goodguys 09

Hit up the Nashville Goodguys show this past Saturday, and saw a crewcab I thought was pretty sweet and thought yall might like, so I took a few pics.

I only brought my cell phone, so I apologize in advance for the poopy quality of the shots.

In related news, this truck was tearing up the autocross they had set up:

Feel free to check out bigger sizes of the pics in my flickr set

That 66 did fairly well on the autocross. It sounded like poop (slipping belt) when it was idling, but did good otherwise..... 383ci w/a clutch. I'm not sure what trans he was running.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Oh man, that stepside with the cummins was awesome. I didn't take any pics because there always seemed to be a big crowd of folks around it.

SCOTI, what were you doing out this way?

Re: A sweet Crewcab from Nashville Goodguys 09

One of the things I like is when people go all out on an older car to make it as comfy as a modern car but waaaay cooler. That crew could've just as easily been a 05 Suburban with the leather, A/C in the front and rear (subtle but I bet it makes riding in the back a whole lot better), XBox and headrest screeens, but insanely better looking and more fun.

That CC is awesome....I'm not a big fan of the big panel between the doors, but it is still a very nice truck. I would have liked to seen more pics of the other two, especially the one with the 4cyl Cummins.

Went there for the show. That 4TB diesel powered short-step was pretty neat. Simple & effective, just the way I like 'em.

Hey SCOTI, got my Goodguys stuff and it looks like they are going to add a spring show out here in addition to the winter Scottsdale show. FYI, cuz it looks like you get around to these things.

I like going to a different area each year as often as possible. This year, commitments will keep me from attending the Columbus show (as of now anyway ) so we opted to try the Nashville show. I did meet more than one forum member while there too.....

It was nice & hot. You guys didn't need to do that just for us guys from TX. We could have done w/o the temps for a weekend .
