3 pc longbox frame! pics...lol

yes, I cut the perfectly good long box frame . I had to keep the cab together for transport to body shop. since i'll be switching to swb stepside no need for bed either. sure (would of) made a great trailer to tow behind the stepside!! to bad i got to scrap it for space. any one got picks of trailers they have built for their rides out of chevy boxes?

Man, don't scrap that bed. It looks way too nice to be crushed. I'm sure a fellow canadian could use a bed that nice. I comletely understand cutting the frame to shorten the back half, but I don't understand cutting the frame off at the front? Are you going to try some kind of new front suspension, or a whole new frame altogether???

WOW...that looks like a great box! Did you try to sell it? You can't scrap a nice box like that!

got new swb step frame thats why i cut, box i just finished cutting hour ago, ive tried to sell even give away. no choice but too scrap, 305 running w/ three spd tranny, two tailgates (1w&1w/o lettering), two chrome bumpers, extra hood, mint bench seat, box liner...etc... free stuff if anyone wants to pick it up. ...damn shame i dont have space. and cant help anybody out.

What kind of shape are the tailgates in? Are they Chevy or GMC?

I know the feeling. I can't even get a couple hundred bucks for my running parts truck. What year and condition are the bumpers?

man i could use that 305 but no luck i haven't got time to drive there to get it or money to ship it heck i could use the bed too lol mys shot i'm scared to even step in it
