accelerator and trans linkage

anyone know of a publication that will show me the PROPER way to attach my linkage to my 64 c10 [carb and tranny], or some pics and general info. the hillbilly who owned it before has it all rigged wrong. it's a 283 2bbl. thanks.

If you have an email you will send me, I'll send you a scan from the assembly manual. The scans are too large a file and I can't attach them to a private message. Have yet to figure out ho wto reduce the scan size.

I've been wondering the same thing.
The PO just had the cable tied in a knot at the throttle lever.

Anyone know where I can get one of those clips?

You can just drill a hole in it and put a pin in. I just did that to mine. I did see those clips somewhere the other day (right after I drilled). I think I marked the site. I'll see if I can find it.
