Re: parting 71 swb 4x4 AZ
AC truck? How much for the compressor brackets? Also interested in the crank pullies. Maybe the left side door hinges, if they look OK. Shoot me some prices.
Thanks, Brett |

Re: parting 71 swb 4x4 AZ
Is the crome trim that divides the two colors still good? If so name a price.

Re: parting 71 swb 4x4 AZ
I'm interested in the cross member that sits between the forward spring hagers on the rear axle. Also all 4 of the rear spring hangers.
It you are taking the box off, I would like to see some pics to make sure the cross member and hangers are the same as mine.

Re: parting 71 swb 4x4 AZ
TEV ( Thermostatic Expansion Valve ) it's the valve that controls the flow of refrigerant going into the evaperator or "cooling coil". If you can get some Pic's of the a/c box, TEV, and the crossmember once you get things disassembled.
Stay cool ! Gary

Re: parting 71 swb 4x4 AZ
The cross member mounts directly between the forward spring hangers on the rear axle. It is located behind the cab and ahead of the rear axle. The main piece of the cross member mounts to upper part of the frame rail and there are some gussets that connect the cross member to the lower part of the frame rail.
I need the cross member and the gussets

Re: parting 71 swb 4x4 AZ
The underdash wiring harness, fusebox, connectors, etc etc. Mine has been chopped, spliced with different color wires and engineered so much that I cant figure out what wire goes where.

Re: parting 71 swb 4x4 AZ
It's tuff to tell from the pic's what shape the parts are in. Is that dirt or rust on the transfere case crossmember, and is there any damage to the a/c evap. box tubes and coil ?? Give me your best discription and prices and will go from there.
Gary Also it looks like dirtball is passing on the a/c brackets & pullies I might be interested.

Does it still have the original 4x4 oil dipstick and tube? The one that curves out toward the front of the truck. If so, how much? Thanks wayne

Thanks but I shall pass. I am sure I can get them around here, I just have to take a stick to kill the snakes at the salvage, LOL

Re: parting 71 swb 4x4 AZ
Tom;
Pick out the best ( No damage, and most complete ) A/C box with evap. coil & TEV you have, and let me know what shipping will be to 03873. ( Maybe the one in the top left pic ) Do you have a good damper that goes in the cowl for the A/C ? Do you have both pulleys, crank & water pump? If so throw them in the box and let me know the total. I'm going to pass on the crossmember for now, I think shipping would be a killer on that. Gary

I need a speedometer adapter box (that funny box that mounts between the transfer case and the speedometer cable).
