Cool Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!

Had to throw my new toy into the ring. I just picked this up a few weeks ago, and this is by far the prettiest little girl I have ever owned, I love it! Don't know what these are goin for, but I gave 4000, I think I did pretty good. Let me know what you think.
PS- Does anyone know where you can get new skirting trim for these burbs?

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!

After 13 years without a project I just bought a 72 Suburban from Arizona. The body is virtually rust free with only 2 dings (rear corner and hood).

13 years ago I took a 72 Ambulance and returned it stock. ESPN put it on TV for 8 minutes at Super Chevy in Memphis. I sure wish I had this one back.

Here is my daily driver. Got it in the early 90's. Has been painted three times, (once due to a head on collision). Was white, then blue, now red.
Has 211 thousand miles with the original motor and trans.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!

Here's the newest to my growing hobby, 1969 burb. I bought it as a stock sitting low on 7:50-15 tires, staight 6 manual steering and brakes. Been busy. Now rides on 6" soft ride springs, GM crate small block, power steering with cross over hooked to a dana 60. The rear got switched to a 14 bolt, also with disc brakes and new power booster. I just had to have a BURB!!!

This is my first post to the site so I thought I would include my new project I bought today for $800.00. Going to go pick it up this weekend. Yes it does run and drive!!! I've been doing my homework on everything I want to do to it. The "to do" list will come later and more pics.

I see a rear bumper...? Is that a pic from before shipping? Looks pretty solid!

Re: Let's see some Burbans!

He is pretty solid, there are a few rusted spots and I found some filler.
But that won't be a problem to fix.

The plans are to bag it and channel it, maybe I am going to Z the frame but I don't know if that will be necessary.
For the rest it will be pretty standard.

Here is a picture of the nice bumper on the back

That is why I ordered a new stock one.

Hey ckhd where'd you get that roof rack? I like that.
Joker, you want mine? pretty sure it's coming off. I have two of them pretty sure they are homemade jobs, not aftermarket.
