I just ordered my Whites Performance dizzy today.

I’m assuming you guys aren’t routing your wires like the stock ones were! I’m thinking of using Kingsborne wires, I’ve used them before on my import and they seem real nice. I called and they have a set for $40. They will put any end you want on them and that’s why I’m asking for pictures- so I can see what I need.

no picture but i'm running taylor full metal jackets paid somewere around a hundred for them at the end of those wires are some ac delco rapid fires.

I route them out and over w/90s at each end.I use looms off the v/c bolts or just floating,if the lengths are just right.

has anyone seen people use the clear HEI caps? do those look cool or do they look a little ricey? white performance sells them for the same price as the normal red caps

I've not seen them, but I don't think I'd care for them.

Not to hijack but .....

All of the cool loom brackets I've seen are designed to bolt down with the valve covers but I have later model center bolted valve covers...

Any suggestions?

(Well.. ok, besides buying new heads! lol)

The ones on the smallblock are centerbolt valve covers and the looms come from Summit Racing and there are no looms on the big block. I think they look just fine the way they are.

I don’t think that’s stock, mine had clips (using an oil pan bolt) holding two wires on each side. It also was fed between the engine block and motor mount not sure if this part was stock though.

MSD 8 MM wires run from the Dizzy around the end of the heads and down to the plugs. This is using the factory wire looms.

I don't have pics of the other truck but it is Taylor wiring run along the back of the heads using billet aluminum wire looms and then dropping off at each plug.

I used the spectre loom once and found it to be efficient, but it was too light weight and kept cutting my hands when I worked around it, so I went with the GM performance aluminum loom.

On this subject line. Before some one posted that a vette 350 with HEI was pre-made & long enough.. Everytime I buy a set they seem short & don't have the 90 ends. Anyone have a pic of the vette year & style for a 350 along with the #?
