Re: GoodGuys Del Mar Nationals April 1-3

This is the first year that I am going to have a spot. It actually costs less for me to get a spot inside than it would have cost to buy two tickets for me and my dad to walk around. Not sure if we are going to be there the whole weekend or not at this point.

I was thinking about going, but the last couple shows had very few, if any 67 - 72 trucks in it. I feel like I walk away disappointed. Anyone know if this one will disappoint as well?

If your only interested in 67-72 C10s you will be disappointed, especially when you figure Del Mar is a little over 100 miles from our neck of the woods. If however you are interested in all things hotrod and muscle, including some of the largest vendor turn outs, you'll enjoy.

I enjoy all the vendors really! And the opportunity to get some "show specials"

I wont solely because my truck is in Colorado still :/

But this is a pretty big car show and they do have a swap meet within the show. Its nothing big as far as the swap meet goes, but its something. There are also ALOT of neat vendors there too. Lots of cool stuff!

We'll be there, come on by the autocross. We'll have the JT (72sw) on it's first outing. You can't miss it, just look for the Gumby green truck.

I was there Saturday and Sunday, walked around most of the day trying to see it all. Sorry I did not get to meet any of you that I was hoping to meet.

Rob,
Saw your truck a lot but never got a chance to meet you, Saw you guy heading back to the R.V. section but they would not let me back with out a special pass, oh well may be next year. Congrats on the auto cross.

Re: GoodGuys Del Mar Nationals April 1-3

I visit the show for the first time on saturday, I'm just surpprised for every single car and truck I saw, but I only see a few 67-72 but I got some ideas to work in my truck, also I feel my truck is very behind of those I saw.I forgot my camera and I noticed when I was crossing the border and I had to buy two disposable cameras if I have the permission at this forum I'd like to share it.
I'd like for future shows if is possible the cars or trucks had an sticker with the forum logo and we coul'd meet with members of this forum.
For sure I won't sure any other show or swap meet.
