How do you take the windows out?

Hi everybody:
I need to take my windows out to replace the seals/felts but I can't remove the windows!. I have couple of books but unfortunately they are not any help. I would appreciate any tips especially the one with some kind of picture.
Thanks

The vent windows have to come out first. The window needs to be rolled all the way down to remove the vent window.

yup what he^^^ said an extra set of hands is also very helpful. you can also get the window out by unbolting the window track on the back side side of the door. the screws are under where the door panel would be you can then get the window off the track slide ift back to disengage it from the regulator and spin the window 90 degrees and bring it out. neither way is any fun and be sure to have a second person on hand

Thanks for replies. Is there anyway to change the felts on the window rails without removing the window?

yea nima you can get them to slide in with the window in various postions and by pulling the door panel and unbolting the rear track to instal the long felt that runs from the wing around the top and down into the door

Make sure you don't over torque the bolts on the install.

Well, I replaced the felt on one side last night. It went ok, it took about 30-40 min, and now I expect the other side go smoother since I know what I am doing!. Thanks to all the tips. I am glad I didn't have to remove the windows.
