Clutch fork issue
What is the trick to get the retaining clip that holds the clutch fork to the pivot ball? This is a 3 on the tree manual. I've been trying all night and gave up. Can someone enlighten me.....PLEASE.

Are you trying to remove the fork or install it?

I don't understand the question either. The fork snaps on & off the ball on the bell houseing. If you are trying to remove the clip it should pry out of the fork. I have some NOS clips if you need one.

I'm putting the fork back on. I can't get the new (or old for that matter) retaining clip back on. Sorry, I posted that question at 1 am last night.

Are you trying to do this with the transmission installed? I don't think you can.
