What is this? And, do I need it?

Can anyone identify this valvish looking part on top of the intake plenum? I have no plug for it in my harness, so can it be deleted?

OK, That is an emissions part, so I likely don't need it. I wonder if there is a plug or delete provision?

CNG's at work have the solenoid but there is a plug on it if that helps. slide the white clip and pull the hose off and cap it off.

Unless your strapped for hood clearance, just leave it there, it fits under the Vortec cover. Take the hose off of it, no need to cap it though, as long as it doesn't have power to it, it's closed.

its more work tracking down a plug to fit there, might as well just leave it in.
