NAPCO visit...

Bruce aka sakohntr, stopped by for a visit yesterday with one of the most unique trucks out there. 67 one ton 4x4 napco. I see the odometer is over 30,000 actual miles now so i am glad to see him enjoying it. Just thought i would share.
The last pic is for fun of my 69 that i just got done cleaning up before he showed up.
Enjoy, Eric

Re: NAPCO visit...

Pretty cool truck Bruce has there, surely it hasn't been up north its whole life has it? The cab and doors look to be rust free. Yours is looking great too Eric.
That's a nice pair.

The napco is basically rust free. He bought it on e-bay awhile back outside of golden colorado i think it was. We jumped in his cavalier, drove out there, gave the car away, jumped in the napco with original tires and 28,xxx actual miles and headed home. The 292/4 speed and 5:13 gears kept us from getting any speeding tickets.
tcb-1, doubtful that will be for sale anytime soon...

Why give the car away? Find a fork lift and throw it on the bed With the 5.13s I doubt there would be much mileage difference! Nice truck.

I think i did post some parts of the trip on the board here. That is the second trip where we have traveled a good distance, give away a car, and jump in bruces new toy and head home. The first time was down to texas when he bought a 72 4x4 lifted burb. Quite an adventure both times.

Amazing truck, I remember bidding on it too but I was happy to see it go to a board member. Anyone have the full size pics from the ebay add? I lost them when my desktop crashed

Re: NAPCO visit...

Dieselwrencher,

The front axle is a NAPCO, they're based on the GM Corporate axles of that time. This one would be a H-052/072.
