Anyone know where I can find a 205 adapter like this?

Looking for this 205 adapter for the next phase of my truck. It is a dodge adapter for a 205. Cant seem to find one on Feebay or anywhere. I know some of you guys dabble in other brands. Any help would be appreciated.

No dice with ORD, at least on their website.

Try northwest fabworks. They have an adapter that allows many options, both circle and racetrack.

Try www.standardtransmission.com or call their Texas location at 817-625-7109. I believe they may have them.

Re: Anyone know where I can find a 205 adapter like this?

Its going behind an Allison. It is just a round 6 bolt pattern. But I need the race track to round 6 adapters like the dodge has. The other ones I have found are not long enough to put the coupler in.

Re: Anyone know where I can find a 205 adapter like this?

Is it the same adapter that would be in a Cummins/Getrag/NP205 combo? I have one from my Donor 12 valve truck. It does have some extra tapped holes as I had clocked the combo before going to a fabricated adapter. I'll grab a picture and you can judge if it's what you need.

Re: Anyone know where I can find a 205 adapter like this?

If it doesn't workout try a search of clockable adapters on pirate4x4.com. I usually wouldn't recommend another forum, but there are some vendors that can machine anything you need. You can find custom made adapters that can adapt anything you want.

Re: Anyone know where I can find a 205 adapter like this?

Nice... I didn't realize that could be so easy to match up. Did you have to modify anything? I went through H*ll and back trying to figure out a set up for my LS swap before i finally just shelled out $550 for my kit.

Re: Anyone know where I can find a 205 adapter like this?

Well I might have to machine down the coupler a bit. Have to hoist the 205 up to it and see. Luckily the Allison is a 29 spline output and the dodge 205's are 29 spline input. A long ways from putting it in the truck but its rounding up all these little pieces so when I do the swap the truck isn't tore apart forever.

Re: Anyone know where I can find a 205 adapter like this?

Glad I haven’t gotten rid of any of my figure 8 205s! If my NV4500 poops the bed again I’m thinking of going the Allison route. The older I get and the more my hips and back kill me, the less enthused I am getting about manual transmissions anyway.

It’s not surprising that Dodge adapter bolts on to the Allison as both are the typical SAE round 6 bolt adapters. What is surprising is if the sleeve between the Dodge 205 tcase and trans fits the output on the Allison and happens to be the right length where it can all just be bolted together. If that is the case, this sure makes Allison swaps easier! Will be watching this one.
