1967 c-10 4x4 build
so, i bought this truck on the cheap with plans to have it looking like new, (or pretty d*mn nice at least) by junior year. i'm hoping this truck can be my senior project, but being a freshman, i need to talk that over with the school district. but i have plans for this truck, and i figured why not document it step by step, like you guys do on here? so i started out by making a video a week or so ago. here it is :
i have hopes on getting this truck as solid and shiney as a truck that rolled out of the factory yesterday. so tomorrow ill post the pictures of the stuff i did yesterday, because my image host is a PITA and i have school tomorrow(technically today). so thats a good start for now. hopefully i can get a trip to the junkyard sometime this week to get another c-10 emblem for the pass side, the chevrolet for the hood, and maybe a body panel or two depending on how they look. im going to try to make most of this build in video format, so it can be followed on youtube too. we'll see how it works out.

Re: 1967 c-10 4x4 build
theres the emblem set up there for picture purposes. it looks low, dosent it??? i thought it looked low, but i dont really mind. it gives it character the only interrior shot i have as of now. i will try to get more soon!

Re: 1967 c-10 4x4 build
its been a while, but i got the oil pan gasket replaced, and its not leaking(yet!). while i was down there i painted the dust shield chevy orange, and i learned that the t-case and tranny were painted under all the oily mess. tomorrow i hope to replace the wheel cylinder, as one of them is bad.

Re: 1967 c-10 4x4 build
Nice truck! I can remember when I got my first 4x4. It was a 69 3/4 ton white, 350 4 speed, but mine was in worse shape. Enjoy the truck and the fixing up process!

Re: 1967 c-10 4x4 build
after it was taken apart-replacing the wheel cylinder. i dont know if you can see that, but there is a crack in the boot, and the inside is rusted. bondo cracks-i hope to get panels to get rid of the bondo. there is bondo in the bottom of Driver and passenger doors, and it also needs rockers. i found the old pinkslip. i learned that it came all the way from Reading PA. and the start to my reciept collection

Re: 1967 c-10 4x4 build
i havent mounted either! i dont know if im going to. i really like the look without trim or emblems. it looks clean. and i dont want to put them on until i do the body-the spot where the other one should be mounted is bondo'd thick and i do not like it one bit!
