did i do ok?

i picked up a transmission and transfer case for my 69 k10 project today. i found an sm465 4 speed and a np205 on the local craigslist along with the driveshafts, clutch/ pressure plate and the flywheel. has the shifters on it as well. i got it for $300.

im not to sure if that was a good deal or not, but now all i need to get is new u-joints and a new clutch, and find the linkage. what do i need as far as clutch linkeage? i have the pedals, and the throwout bearing fork, but nothing else.

Re: did i do ok?

sounds decent, i sold the whole package on here for $100, but close is the name of the game with fuel and freight so high.

Sounds ok,keep in mind you will need the transfer case crossmember and torque bracket moved back since the rockwell it would have had originally was mounted farther forward.

Re: did i do ok?

thats another thing i was wondering about.. the driveshaft i got with the frame is the same as the driveshaft my 71 k10 has, slipyolk in the front and when held up under the truck it looks to be the same length

i think this 69 may have had a 205? is that possible?

it has 2 crossmembers other than the engine crossmember also, one has what looks to be a skidplate on it as well
