Question Taking off knobs

I am taking the dash apart on my 70, how do you take the lights and windshield washer knobs off. Thanks

Thumbs up

There should be a small allen set screw on the wiper knob. Loosen it and pull knob off. Pull the headlight knob out, (like you're turning on the lights), reach up under the dash and find the switch. On top should be a small button. (it's spring loaded, you should be able to feel it?) Pushdown on the button, and pull the headlight knob out. Take off the nuts that will be exposed, (behind the knobs on the dash face) and take out the switches. Oh yea, disconnect your battery first. Don't need and sparks or shorts. Hope this helps?

washer knob has a screw in the knob I think. Light knob there's a little button on the top of the switch, in behind the dash.. push the button, & pull the knob out, the shaft & knob will come out... Unhook yer battery, before you pull the switch.
