Future of my 76 Siera 2500

I was just trying to decide what the future of my 76 Siera 2500 will be. I originally bought it for the motor fro a diferent project. Now I am not sure I want to take it apart! It is a 1976 GMC Siera 2500 two wheel drive with a 454 and a rebuilt 700r4. It is in decent shape and looks prety good with the black paint but still needs work. I really like these trucks and have had many square bodys. Not sure if a 3/4 ton is worth the investment. Any thoughts?
