03 Chevy Express 14 Bolt FF vs 2500hd 14 Bolt
I am doing a rear axle swap in my truck to upgrade to a 14 bolt full floater. I have access to a 2003 one ton 14 bolt out of an express but was wondering if it is the same as the 14 bolts that they put in the 2500hd's or 3500hd's.
The truck im upgrading this to is a 2003 silverado 1500 4wd. i am not sure if the perches will need to be moved or if the overall axle is the same width. any info would be appreciated. |

Re: 03 Chevy Express 14 Bolt FF vs 2500hd 14 Bolt
As far as I know a SRW 14-bolt is a SRW 14-bolt. But don't hold me to that. As far as the spring perches I don't know about 99-06's but I do know that for 73-87 the locations are different. Good luck.

Re: 03 Chevy Express 14 Bolt FF vs 2500hd 14 Bolt
Why not grab a 14 bolt from the NBS SS Silverado or V-Max trucks? They should be the same spring perches, shock locations, and already 6 lug like your 1500 Silvy...
