Big block conversion info

As my brother says Go Big or Go Home. So with that said I am looking for info and tips on installing a BBC in our year of trucks (60-66). I have a line on a 1990 454 ss low milage engine and trans. A couple of questions come to mine,

1.. Engine and trans mounts?
2.. Room from top of block to hood (considering blown BBC)

And info or tips would be great thanks

Re: Big block conversion info

Get youself some 68 to 72 engine mounts for big block, buy or build trans mount, bigger radiator, minimum is 3 row, you can use the rear holes in the crossmember or front holes for the engine mounts, rear holes make for little room for the dizzy but will work, blower for this, scrap the hood or cut a hole in it...
