Photos from the 2024 Concours de Maryhill at Maryill museum.

I jumped in the F2fiddy and drove the 60 miles to the Maryhill Museum for the 2024 Concours de Maryhill today. It was one of about 4 popular events in central/Eastern Washington today.

They had a big turn out with many of them being later model Mustangs that will probably be at the Mustang show in Prosser Wa tomorrow. Lots of other newer rides as it is a fully open run that anyone with 20 bucks to hand the guy at the entrance can enter.

Not many trucks and I didn't see Hogfarm.

This red TF was nice and the paint was really nice and a great color.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Big window with a Cameo bed but not all the Cameo bells and whistles.

His side kick had a nice 57 Ranchero.

I took a bunch of photos of the yellow AD last year and shared them on here.
Nice red ElCamino and a nicely done Farmal M. Plus the longest Chevy truck rat rod in captivity.

The rest of the photos are here. https://robertdavison.smugmug.com/20...rs-De-Maryhill

Re: Photos from the 2024 Concours de Maryhill at Maryill museum.

I looked for you. There were some real interesting cars and trucks but way too many that you could see on the car lots in the Dalles. I probably didn't take photos of half the cars there because they are just New Mustangs or late model Corvettes.

A bit of whining on my part, I like good old 50/s 50's rock and roll just as well as anyone but when it is blasted out of speakers so loud that you can't hold a conversation 100 ft from the speakers it is annoying. I'll probably get a smack down on that from the folks who put the event on but I seriously doubt that any of the participants would miss the music blasting from loud speakers all day.

Did the longest chevy rat rod have some specific purpose?

I hear you on the music thing. Live performance, let er rip. Canned soundtrack blasting all afternoon is just annoying, why do we even need that?

Get attention is the only thing I can think of. That is as close as I got to it and I wouldn't have taken a photo at all if it hadn't been a GM truck.
