possible intrest in 71 swb?

a friend of mine is thinking of selling his 71 c10 swb

its kind of a project, he drives it daily now. it has a rebuilt 350 with around 2000 miles on it, stock other than crane .440" lift cam and headers. new 2.5" dual exaust, hei dist, q-jet, runs great. just installed new starter, waterpump, belts/hoses, ect with the rebuilt motor. he had the rear end rebuilt with all new bearings, and rebuilt carrier and 3.07 gears so that he could drive it on the highway. it runs and drives great, like i said its his daily driver.

it had new rockers and one cab corner installed before he bought it (he bought it as a roller) it needs one more cab corner, and then the cab is pretty much done. it also has all new cab mounts and bolts/bushings. the jambs and doors are edged in metallic blue. new blue carpet, dashpad, all the interior is real nice. all glass is good. he has brand new fenders that will be installed in the next few days. the box needs a floor, and possibly a tailgate to be real nice, or just a diffrent box. it looks good though with the drop in liner it has. its been lowered, want to say atleast 3-4" has trailing arms. also has some kind of chrome wheels and 275/60/15" tires all the way around, almost new tires.

i'd say the body needs a few things and then paint, and its a nice driver. he would like to get a more original 2wd lwb maybe a 1/2 or 3/4 ton, thts has factory ride height and one he can use for towing or hauling stuff. or maybe a 4x4, even a newer one like 73-87... but anyway just seeing if there might be any intrest here on the board for somthin like this or even a trade... or does anyone have an idea of what he should ask for it? a few months back he was offered 3400 but wasnt interested in selling it.
