Stepside Fender Supports

Hi,
The fender supports on a stepside (one goes from the fender to the bedside at the rear, the other goes from the step/fender joing into the frame at the front) Are these the same as Fleetside items?
I see repros for the fleets but not the steppers. It's the only thing holding my bed on the frame and I dont want to cut unless I can get repros later on should I run into difficulty with removing them.

Anyone have knowledge in this matter?

Cheers
Lee

Re: Stepside Fender Supports

No they are not the same, and you are correct no one reproduces them (far as I know anyways). I have made suitable substitutes with threaded dow rod and welding tabs onto them. They are simple to make as long as you have at lest one to copy.

Re: Stepside Fender Supports

I bought reproduction step fenders and they came with the supports. I just am not sure how the mount up.
