I am trying to get my body work underway. I still need a driver’s door for a 72 truck; I want it to have the extra bolt hole below the vent window. I am not concerned with any of the internals or door panel, but don’t mind if they are there. I AM concerned with it being solid overall with no rot. Some surface rust and/or small dings are no problem, I can even live with a speaker hole. I MIGHT be interested in a set of left and right doors if you have them. The closer to San Antonio TX the better but I think they can be shipped by Greyhound. By the way, this is for my Blazer. I planned to cut the truck door down, but if you have a Blazer door of similar condition, I would be interested in it of course.

I have some near cherry doors in Lubbock. I am not real interested in shipping them but my dad travels a lot and could work out some delivery or meet maybe. $450 for the set or $250 for the drivers side and $200 for the pass. I have some less than cherry doors for cheaper.

Yep, i was here in 03, my family moved back to Lubbock in 1972. Ofcourse, I was only 2 weeks old.

Are those ALL 72s? I see the vent brace bolt on all but maybe the green one?

I think only the 3 on the right are 72. The red one and the bronze one are the cherry ones and the the mustard (pass side) is nearly near cherry. I was going to save the cherry set but I don't really need them. I have alot more doors, but they are still on trucks.

I would rather stick to OEM doors, and I want to look mostly stock so I think the shaved blazer doors are out of the question as well. Thanks though.

I looked over my trucks/parts and I really only have 2 72 drivers doors. The solid red one is really nice. It has a broken vent window, but you are more interested in the metal right. It has a couple small hail dents and 4 drilled holes where someone add a mirror. The doors all have original paint and dirty. I ran out of time to wash them ......$250...............

The 2nd door is very straight but has two problem areas. The upper hinge area is split and need repair and the outside lower cornes has some rust. The other rust on the bottom of the door is surface.........$75..............

This bronze/white door is a passenger door. It is one of the nicest door I have seen. The scratch in the bronze area is in the paint only and you can barely feel it with your hand. Some light surface rust on door bottom. This door is a shell only................$200.......................

Thanks for the pics. I will definitly pass on the 2nd one due to the split hinge area, I don't think I trust my repair skills enough.

The 1st one (solid red) is a possibility. $250 is maxing out my budget for a single door, but it isn't out of the question. You mentioned a possibility of you Dad driving down this way. Is there a way we could ship it for "free"?

Just curious, why are you asking more for the drivers side than the passengers that seem to be in a little better shape? Are drivers harder to come by???

Much harder!! The hinge area is usually split like the red/white one on the drivers side. I normally don't even sell my 72 doors, but I can find some more.

Grey Hound can ship big stuff like doors, but I am not sure of the cost. The best thing would be for my dad to come through there some time. He needs to go to Houston soon. From Lubbock to Houston, I wonder How fas S.A is out of the way? Are you wanting one or both sides of the doors?
