New truck for me?

If everything works out, I have a buyer for my 96 Dodge and I have found a truck that I want. It is a 68 Custom Camper 3/4 ton that is mostly unmolested. The buyer for my Dodge is coming Saturday and I might be able to pick up this Chevy Sunday. The bonus is I will have a little bit of money left over. Anyway, here are some pics of the 68. Let me know what you think and what you think it's worth.

Re: New truck for me?

Scott that looks like a pretty solid and clean of 50th... looks like things will be working out after all.

Decent patina as well...

Re: New truck for me?

Nowhere near as nice of a truck as yours Nate but it runs and drives good and is local to me. Couple trim pieces and it'll look pretty darn good IMO. That's what I was looking for, something I could just get in and drive.

I would not push that thing away for any reason, great looking LWB.

Let me know if you ever end up parting with it.

Re: New truck for me?

Might want to crawl under the doors and see how bad those rockers are rusted. If their not bad it looks like a good truck. Don't want to guess at the price as prices vary according to area. In No.Ca. I would say around 2 to 3K in that condition.

Re: New truck for me?

Great, Scott..glad this is going to work out for you. Depending on what rust is below the rockers, and inside the cab for our area $2700 wouldn't be out of line. If it runs good and rust hasn't ate the windshield and cab up it could easily bump it up another $300-$500 above that.
