Re: My suburban ..Somthing a little different

Thanks Guy's Ill get it cleaned up and snap some more pics of it tomorrow..I told the wife I was going to sell my c10 to just focus on the burb and she about flipped..We had a super clean 91 burban I decided to sell because it was way to clean for what I wanted to do with it..This is my super low budget burban build and for it not being to jazzy Im really happy with it..

I was just thinking of my mirror options..Something old school..Maybe the little ones that hang from the top of the door frame..I can weld up all the old holes so that wont be a big deal.

I love those low budget builds. I have seen a few of those around that I can totally see potencial, But I got a wife that already has to deal with three of my rides. so, well anyway. Keep us posted.

Thanks!! As soon as I went to look at this truck I knew what was going to be done ..I ran it by the wife my ideas and she just looked at me crazy..Especially when I said it was going to have some little hubcaps and steel wheels. The wheel and body color is Ivory..Its soft and old looking color.Kinda fits the time period

love it bro! my wife thinks i am crazy for buying old stuff, she said (on the side of the road broke down in my burb and she had to bring me some parts to fix it) "you have a brand new car in the garage and you are out here at 10 at night working on your old truck, you must really love this" LOL

Great find and good luck with your build. cant wait to see the dire3ction your going. Ive been looking for a solid 73-79 burban for awhile now with no luck, i know once i dont have the funds one will pop up. My plans were a reliable cross country crusier...

If they were stock on any older Chevy, they probably have them. But I don't know what truck might have had those.

Cool truck - what's to hate?

But women and old trucks can be like oil & water. My missus refuses to ride in my '85 Suburban...
