Post 1970 GMC Pick-up Disk Brake Conversion? 4x4

Hello, i have a 1970 GMC k1500 4x4 pick-up. I was wanted to convert the front drums to disk brakes. It is all stock, Dana 44 open knuckle front end. My question is what do i need to do? Where can i perhaps find a kit? Thanks in advance.

Just find a newer Dana 44 with disk from a Chevy GMC and use all the parts from it. That is what I did. Good time to convert to power Brakes.

Easy conversion. You can change knuckles out or spindles out. Actually I think the spindles are the same, just uses a different backing plate for the calipers.
