Schrader valves
Search quit working and I need some part numbers, or a detailed description that a hardware store employ would understand...I am going to plumb my 1/4" airline through floor with body grommets. And then install schraders. What schraders would work best? I would like PTC valves. Does anybody have part#'s for NAPA, or ACE hardware? I have been to both stores and they have no idea of what I'm asking. I have searched store inventory with no luck. A pic would work, maybe. I found some Firestone valves on the net, but not sure of connect style. I wouldn't be asking for this info if the search was up. So thanks for any help.

Re: Schrader valves
I got mine at the local industrial hydraulics and air supply house. I just used a male connector to a bulkhead fitting and male schrader on license plate side. I use one for each bag...hold air forever. Make sure when you connect them that you heat the hose and fittings with a heat gun to make sure you get a good seal. If you assemble them in cold weather they almost always leak. They don't need to be terribly hot...just about 120-150F. I also use teflon tape as well.

Re: Schrader valves
Look here.
http://www.airridefittings.com/store...products_id=24 I got mine at Autozone. They were replacement schraders for the small portable air tanks. (like the ones you air up a tire with.) Then just buy a ptc fitting with 1/8" female pipe threads on one end and 1/4" airline on the other end.

Re: Schrader valves
Thanks guys for the pics & link. I have an Auto Zone & Fastenal for the Fem ptc connector, I have a huge truck stop plaza nearby. Between the three I think I can get this done.
