Lowered Driveability

Again. New guy here. My recent purchace already had the been lowered. Rear 6 inch drop springs, front 1.5 inch drop springs with 2.5 inch spindles. The truck has the original manual steering gear which is a little sloppy. It handles fine on the road and tracks straight, again with some play in it. The thing that I am not use to is that the truck wants to push/plow foward when I am turning sharply. For instance, when pulling from the driveway. I believe the kit came from early classic. Is this typical for a lowered truck.
