Bumper Brackets Question

Can I use the bumper brackets from my '69 burb and use them to hang my new '72 bumper? Or do I have to buy brackets that are specified for a '71-'72 bumper? I'm giving my '69 burb a facelift with the newer grill and bumper and I would like to keep costs to a minimum. Thanks in advance for any input.

i've got a 68 and had a 72 on mine, then tried to switch back to a 68 and the brackets wouldn't fit. they were too wide. I guess to clear the signals in the bumper! went to a local junker and found a 69 and snatched the brackets off of it, and worked like a charm! i've got the old 72 brackets if you want them, just PM me.
