69 c10 bed question.
OK so I've been trying to figure out what I should do with my truck and I thought you guys could help me decide. so I guess the choices are endless but the 4 that keep sticking are either, 1 restore it as the long bed that it is, 2 turn it into a shortbed stepside, 3 put a utility bed on it and turn it into a service truck, or 4 build a flatbed for it. if anyone can help me decide on this that would be great. also if you guys have any other ideas please let me know as I'd love to hear them.
Thanks, Stephen |

Re: 69 c10 bed question.
actually I am still trying to decode the spid. It's the original bench seat though. and apparently the truck was originally a light olive 2 tone with the white top. If I restore it as a long bed I will do it up like my grandfathers truck was. but if I go the swb stepside route I will do the truck like my fathers but maybe not the same color red that his was. the other two choices aforementioned will be a 2 tone orange and white. so any of the choices would look good. I don't have any pics of their trucks but I know of a few online that look almost identical. the only differences are that my dads stepside had different rims and my grandfathers truck didn't have the bottom trim. as for the idea of a swb fleet side, its a good idea but Ive never personally cared for thee look quite as much. I mean they're nice looking trucks but they're a bit overdone.
