Considering Redoing 69' Blazer family heirloom War Eagle

Need help Advice on Redoing My Dads 69' Blazer. He bought it Brand New.
We Lost him in 2020. He told me to Change it however i wanted. Wanted thoughts on Color, Motor upgrade, Etc. Its all original. Any discussion would be appreciated. I do have a Highly regarded gentleman that is going to do the project for me.

Does it run and drive good? Any major rust issues? If the answer to those questions is no I would just enjoy it as is.

Maybe dig up some stainless hub caps and bump up to a 15x8 steel wheel and a 31 x 10.5 tire, that works pretty well with stock suspension. Unless you have a 3.07 rear end, if so I'd stick with the tires you have. https://www.wheelvintiques.com/all-w...backspace.html

Real neat story and glad you still have it in the family. I’d keep it all original and drive back to that same spot on the Going to the Sun road and capture the same photo 50 years later. Front disc brakes might be a worthwhile upgrade. I’ve seen other 67-72 trucks with a front affixed spare.
