What's the Story with Wheel Cylinders?

WTF!
C20 suburban needs new rear wheel cylinders. Found out that I need bendix part numbers 33254 and 33255. I can find the 33255 (right rear), but the 33254 (left rear) is impossible to find. No parts stores have any and don't know if they order it when it will be in. Any ideas or sources guys?
Thanks for the help!
Shawn

Everyone's probably waiting for a backorder release. Looks like Summit Racing will have some by June 3rd.

Re: What's the Story with Wheel Cylinders?

I checked there also. Unfortunately that ship date is automatically generated. Theydaid they don't know when it will really ship. Right now the burb is my daily driver, so I need to get it fixed in the next few days. Thanks for looking for me though. Anybody got any other ideas. Do we know which rebuild kit works on the original wheel cylinders. I haven't had much luck in the past with rebuild kits and brake hydraulics in the past. The bore is usually pitted and it still ends up leaking. I may not have a choice though.

Re: What's the Story with Wheel Cylinders?

Thanks for the help guys! I was trying to avoid calling NAPA because they are usually so much more expensive, but I called NAPA and they can have them there for me by 2 pm today. At the end of the day 42 bucks a piece hurts, but is worth it to get it done now! Thanks for the help!

THat is for the rear coil spring set up. At some point the rear end was changed and a leaf spring rear was used. I just noticed the leaf spring locating pins on the top of the differential yesterday. Not sure why it was changed out, but it was.

THe ones for the leaf springs are evidently a bear to find. I wish they were 15 bucks!
