‘77 Suburban
As seen at the beginning of this thread several years ago:
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=645053 I put it into my storage barn (enclosed, concrete floor) shortly after buying it and haven’t done anything to it other that start it and drive it around the block every year. One of my sons is turning 16 soon so he helped me unearth it this afternoon with the promise some of the funds would go towards a car for him. Fired right up, runs smooth and drives like a Cadillac. It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty dang clean and always gets “that thing is clean” comments from those that have been in my barn. Here’s the bad: Small amount of rust behind rear tires. Could easily be repaired and paint matched up to the trim. I have up close pics. Small dent in right hand door. I was too lazy to throw a battery in it and only had to push it forward a foot or so and yup, it pushed in a bit. Barely noticeable but it’s there. Lost some sleep over that move. I hate it when I cause damage. Still makes me angry. AC compressor engages but air blows kinda cool. Not ice cold. Headliner is sagging in spots. I’m thinking it needs valve cover gaskets. Mud flaps, white walls. Notable good: Interior is mint. No dash cracks, seats, carpet, seat belts perfect. Engine runs great, trans shifts nice. No leaks. Cruise works Original radio works. Asking $7,000. 5 years of barn dust no charge which is unheard of these days. Can store until shipping is arranged if needed (within reason). Can deliver no cost up to 200 miles on a trailer if full price met. PM me with questions or if you’d like more pics. Last edited by Willowrun; 07-13-2019 at 10:13 PM. |

Re: ‘77 Suburban
Last for now. I took a lot of pics today of what I’d want to see if I was buying so let me know if you’d like to see something.
