1987 4x4 frt axle
I bought frt & rear axles off of an 87 4x4 Burb to put on my 63 4x4 burb. The "new" axle is full time locked. No unlocker.
Can this be changed to an unlock with a Warn (type) hub? From my readings here I'm gonna say yes, but I sure don't know all that y'all know. It has 3.73 diffs in case you're curious. Thank you.

Yes, you can convert to manual hubs.
I am curious however, are you sure the axles are out of an '87? I thought GM had abandoned full time four wheel drive before that time. Or, do the axles have auto hubs? |

automatic locking hubs. very easy swap out, about a 30 minute job.
