Hey guys, first time creating a poll but I recently came accross a pic of my truck with a blacked out 77-79 grille and it got me to rethinking which grille I should run. I love the 73-74 of course but I am starting to think the blacked out one looks tougher. What do you think?

Normally I'd say 73 74 but the blacked out grille looks pretty good

I voted 73-74 before even looking at the thread because that's always been my favorite grille. But,I like 'em how they came from GM unless they are overall customized or built from the ground up. Yours still has the factory vibe and I would say the black grille looks best.

Thanks for all the responses guys! It seems the OG black is the winner so far. And I'm having a hard time imagining the 73-74 grille blacked out. It almost seems like it would be too boring. Anyone have one?

After looking at it in better weather (and with cleaner wheels) I really like the look better now. Maybe what is making it seem weird is that I don't have amber turn signals. What do you think?

The 73-74 grill is the best looking "stock" grill of the 73-80's by far. With that said, I think the blacked out grill looks better here because it has a slight custom vibe. Nothing dramatic, just a bit different from stock which fits the over all look of your truck.
