Its been some time, but I知 back with a Chevrolet lift kit question
Well I have been working my tail off on the house and work I thought I would need to sell the Cherokee and pick up a cheep 4x4 for the winter, but my wife floored me yesterday and we picked up my Christmas present today.
it is a 01 1500 HD 4x4 and she is sweet! I知 never sure how I got a woman like this, but she loves me for me. And with the house purchase we have picked up some neat tools too. Now for the question. I知 looking to put the Silverado up about 5 to 7 inches and I have seen so many kits it is nuts. What company sells the best for the buck and ease of install? Are there kits that are expandable in stages or is it best just to do it all to the height you want the first time? Any good suggestions will be greatly appreciated. The good thing is I知 not selling the jeep now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the kits you buy these days are all together, front and rear. i wouldn't recopmend doing a lift in stages. fabtech, rcd, procomp, superlift are all good companies. if you can read directions and can turn a wrench, you should be able to install a kit.

Thank you. As far as wrenching I got that in my favor. What I meant on stages is that on a show I saw where they started with a 2 or so and it was upgradeable over time. [Trucks I think]

you could do ford green keys on the torsion bars and those level the front to the rear. then you could add a lift after that.
