60-61 Trim Repop Question

I found a almost complete trim set, Everything is on a parts truck even the rear window trim. It has some dents dings and the drivers door piece is missing. Does anyone thing some place might repop this trim at some point. Should I wait?

Re: 60-61 Trim Repop Question

since it is a 2 year only deal, I do not think it will be done....
the door trim was used on the gmc as well.. but I still don't think there will be enough demand to pay for the tooling costs...
hopefully I am wrong, I would like a truck with a set too!

Re: 60-61 Trim Repop Question

Well, I took the day off work so i could get the trim. Funny thing is that my truck was the same red and white two tone paint as his. My trim was tanken off my truck at some point so i have all the holes. Now all i need is a motor, paint job, brakes and nearly everyting else. The truck was for sale on CL, BBW body was nice up close not to much rust. http://flint.craigslist.org/cto/2361628496.html

Re: 60-61 Trim Repop Question

Doors were rusty on bottom and the inside where the windsheild meets roof had some rust. Worst rust is just above door hinge on drivers door, Truck had orig paint, body was not beat up. Floor replaced at some point. Grill and headlights where just as good as the trim I got.
