What is 'SPOT LP.' in the fuse box

The fuse is for the GL BOX (glove box) and SPOT LP, but I don't know what SPOT LP means.

"LP" is "lamp" abbreviated. You don't have a spot lamp on your truck, do you?

Not that I'm aware of! So this would be the same circuit as an external-mounted spot lamp?

Re: What is 'SPOT LP.' in the fuse box

I'm guessing, because a spot lamp would require a pretty big fuse, I think.

The only other lights are the dome/interior light, dash lights, and glove box so it must be.

Spot Lamp would be a ''Cop Spot'' -- controlled by a handle inside the cab. Unity of Chicago still makes them. The fitting for the 67/72 GM Drivers side A Pillar is their p/n # 202.
They now offer LED innerds for these spots, so the amp draw will be a lot less.
But I like the 'color' of the incandescent originals.
