Disconnected modulator line

I disconnected mine and it is shifting firm and at higher rpms like i wanted.

Will it damage the trans to keep driving it with it unhooked?

I was gonna get a governor spring and weight kit because it was shifting too soon but now I don't need it as long as it won't hurt anything.

It's shifting about 4k rpms [1st to 2nd] l would guess and a little less rpms [2nd to 3rd]--l don't have a tach.
