Crossing my fingers

What do you guys think? Might come home with me. One owner truck from CA. Don't want to jinx it, but I had to post about it. Won't be able to sleep tonight.

Re: Crossing my fingers

Love it. That chalky oxidation will come right off, and the original paint will shine like you wouldn't believe, with a good paint cleaner like Maguires cleaner wax or Zymol paint cleaner wax.

Re: Crossing my fingers

By the way, is there any chance this is maybe a '69 with a 71/72 grille and mirrors? Not that it matters. Just interesting.

Here are a few clues that I see

1. Light blue paint (at least the shade I'm thinking of) wasn't made after '69. Now, I might be seeing a different shade, due to screen and camera variances
2. Door panels don't look like 71/72
3. I don't see the screw hole in the upper door like on 71/72
4. Rear view mirror isn't window stick on

Edit. I might be thinking too much of the 72's. Hard to say

Yeah, it might just be 72 that had the stick on mirror.

Talking Re: Crossing my fingers

71 for sure no vent window screws and mirror is on cab roof. Gas pedal also is on the fire wall mount. Nice find.

I think it was all blue at one time. A pillars and window frames would be white with a white roof.

I have the long bed brother of it! Mine isn't 100 percent original but pretty close. I repainted the wheels and caps and I forgot that the centers were black I see. Looks like a great truck I hope you get it.
