Best carpet for $...where?
Looking to get new carpet, and need new pad also.
Looking for the best value. Don't need the $300 ACC carpet, or the $50 elcheapo either. If you have bought carpet, let me know where you got it and if you are happy with it. thx John

Re: Best carpet for $...where?
ACC is pretty much the only major player, so 95% of the sellers are going to offer it. It's a lot less than $300 for your truck too.
The ACC basically is your best for the money. If you can even find any other brands that are noticeably cheaper, it's unlikely that their quality will be as good. Last edited by Jim85IROC; 04-19-2010 at 03:07 PM. |

Re: Best carpet for $...where?
I haven't ordered the actual carpet but I've gotten samples. Seems to be good stuff depending on what you're looking for.

Re: Best carpet for $...where?
I just bought mine from varkmotors.com and could not be happier. I went with cut pile and the mass backing option and it was $175 to my door. Subtract $52 if you do not want the mass backing. They were cheapest place on the web and are offering free shipping now. The ACC carpet was 10x nicer than the factory piece I pulled out.

Re: Best carpet for $...where?
They include the rubber/plastic piece and you have to cut the hole yourself.

Re: Best carpet for $...where?
I got mine from classic parts of America (used to be chevy duty) and was $139 I think, I picked it up a couple weeks ago in person. I am very pleased with the fit, only cutting involved in install was for the dimmer switch and to trim off excess in door sill area. It does have at heavy jute padding attached to the back of it.

Re: Best carpet for $...where?
I got a molded kit through Summit a few years ago, about 100 bucks, no complaints.

Re: Best carpet for $...where?
Bought ACC on Ebay for 175. I received it in five days and installed it in one hour. It fit great. And yes they offer it with the hole for the high beam if you need it.

Re: Best carpet for $...where?
I got mine for my crewcab from Brother's trucks. It was ACC and fit like a glove. Loved it.
