Re: mildew trouble

To reduce moisture and prevent mold buildup install a dehumidifier in your garage!!!!.

Re: mildew trouble

Do you have moisture coming up through the slab? Maybe try and epoxy coating on the garage floor? Also, make sure you have vents going to outside to allow airflow. You don't want that garage hermetically sealed, will cause fungus, mildew, etc.

X 2 !!!

Mold / mildew needs moisture to grow.

Dry the humid air = mold is stopped. Rust is slowed / stopped, too.

X2. It can't be as dry as you think it is if you're getting mildew.

Re: mildew trouble

A dehumidifier will drive your electric bill sky high, though.

Re: mildew trouble

If the mildew is on the inside of the truck, you could use....
.....a plastic tub with some BBQ charcoal
.....a buncha silica gel packets.
.....a glass container with salt spread on the bottom

Refresh as needed, when needed.

HTH....good luck.....don t. .....
