Straight 6 block # question.
This is an 6 cylinder that is comeing my way for some work on a '69. Can someone tell me what the casting number on the block makes the engine? The number is 6 921966. THanks! Here is a pic:

Where did you get the number from?? Are you sure that is the engine code?
I think the number should be on the passenger side of the block behind the distributor. Go to this site to get more info. http://www.inliners.org/becks/BCN2.html |

measure the side lifter covers - 4" is a 230/250, and 6" is a 292. from the looks of it, it's a 230/250, which used the same block anyway. so, thats my guess atleast.
