Correct shield?
This is the only bellhousing/flywheel shield that I have found in my parts storage, but it just doesn't seem to line up right. And it kind of seems mangled a bit too.
Is this the right part for a 350 w/ manual trans, or do I need to make a trip to the parts yard? Thanks for the help.

That looks like most of it, but unless I'm mistaken, there should be a cover that goes below that one.

I have the other cover, & it fits fine. This one though really doesn't. I'm wondering if it's for a 250 motor I used to have.
Anybody know for sure? Thanks

Those covers are for the bellhousing correct? If that is true, it will fit any motor your truck has in it, 6 or 8 cyl. The bell was the same for them all. It should fit, but looks to be missing some of it where the starter goes in. Does your starter bolt to the bell or the engine? That could make it not fit right.

I dont remember any diffs in the pcs from swapping them from 6 to 8......they take the same bell. The pc you have in the pic looks like its been though a war tho.... If you unfold the one end, my bet is that you will see 3 holes where the starter bolts......or is the end missing?
