de-arch springs
I'm getting ready to de-arch my springs on the 71 gmc to lower it down to about 4.5", will the springs go back into the same bracket they came out of or will I half to move the brackets after they are de-arch?

Re: de-arch springs
Yes they will bolt right back on. You shocks will be a bit long. You also might want to trim your bump stop down. I did and it rode much better with the extra 1" travel.

Re: de-arch springs
You can get shorter shocks from a lot of places. I'm running Doetsch Tech and am very happy with them. Also recommend the shock relocator kit from CPP. It will help bring your shock angle back to a more upright position which will in turn help the ride quality.
