Gas Filler ?

I want to leave the filler on the cab and is there anybody who has done something diffrent than the large cap? I trying to get some help what would look cool pics would be real helpful Thanks Brandon

I have a '64, but I would like to do something with my filler also. I wonder if newer model filler door could be cut down, Or, fill the present hole. cut a door and create a false wall behind the new door that is the support for the fill tube. Hard to explain in words, but I can see it in my head.

I recognize the gas cap setup linked above by 69GMCor70Chevy. It is a marine flush deck fuel cap/neck and I had one just like it on my boat. It can be probably found at your nearest West Marine or similar boating supplies store. You can even get it in stainless steel. The negative on this is that the cap unscrews and then dangles from a chain. If you remove the chain, then you can easily lose it (but no danger of losing it overboard as on a boat.)
