I know this is an old post, but if that is a porterbuilt dropmember and factory arms, what year are the arms off/spindle/etc off?

I believe they use the arms off 73-87.

so for the '62, I could pick up a dropmember for about $1k, then just go pick up the rest for a few hundy? seems like a good deal.

I believe only the lower arm is from the 73-87 as well as the spindles etc. The top arm would be from the 62. I got the tubular arms from him as well and went with drop spindles to get the big brake kit. Someone else could clarify. Or call Nate Porter himself, he is very helpful. He will not pressure you to buy his arms etc..., I chose to go that route

Re: Step Side Porter built Drop Pics?

thanks Man, I'll probably call Nate today. I've been overwhelmed on this project thinking and thinking and thinking because I figured it was going to cost about 3x's as much as I wanted to spend by the time the front is done, but now I'm thinking it's going to be much more reasonable.
