Any info on how to build a period correct wrecker??

some of you may be familiar with the 62 gmc wrecker i was going to lower and "rat rod". but i found a pic of a 62 Chevrolet wrecker that my grandpaw had in the early to mid seventies and i decided to build it stock in honor of my grandpaw. i was wondering if any of you had any pics of door lettering, etc.
