Instrument cluster info
I just purchased a new instrument cluster which I noticed all the lighting in the backboard has no wires going to the plugs and I am guessing the pc bc board powers them and I know the cluster I have in my dash has wires going to every light socket. My question is do I just plug my harness into it and it will power everything or is there something else I need to do?

Re: Instrument cluster info
The printed circuit board has the "wires" built into it. If it's not damaged, then all you do is plug in the harness.

Re: Instrument cluster info
you'll have to make sure it's grounded good. And
does your truck have the gauges or the lights in the new cluster and does it match the old one. Check the FAQS in the stickies in the electrical forum for all the info you need.

Re: Instrument cluster info
The tach has it's own 2 wires to run it. They are separate from the other's. A picture of yours and the new cluster would help us help you.
